During the summer and fall of 2023 I visited Japan to study Japanese woodblock printing and to visit Fukuoka farm. Here I joined the workers in the orchards and rice fields and drew them while they worked. These drawings were made with an iPad and digital pencil. This medium gives the freedom to work quickly even in challenging circumstances like rain or darkness. The result is a series of 65 digital drawings and many more sketches ranging from city to the countryside.
